February 2026: Jose Zamudio

Jose Zamudio is a Customer Success Manager at Diligent, partnering with BoardEffect clients to ensure they feel confident using the platform and are getting real value from it in their day-to-day governance work. He is passionate about helping organizations stay focused on their mission while making governance easier behind the scenes.

Outside of work, Jose’s favorite role is being a dad to his daughter, Camila Isabella. Family time is a priority, whether that means a quiet night at home or getting out together on the weekends. He is also a big fan of Lucha Libre and enjoys catching matches live whenever he can or watching them on TV.

One of Jose’s favorite BoardEffect features is AI Minutes. By automatically capturing key decisions and action items, it helps take the pressure off during meetings so board members and administrators can stay focused on the conversation instead of note-taking.

Jose brings care, consistency, and a genuine desire to help to every customer interaction, making him a trusted partner to the BoardEffect community.

January 2026: Schuyler Biltz

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Schuyler moved to New York City and joined the Diligent team about a year ago. She helps nonprofits and mission-driven organizations explore how BoardEffect can support their governance goals, always bringing a warm, thoughtful approach to each conversation.

A highlight of her work is showing teams how BoardEffect can reduce stress and create smoother workflows.

“I love helping people see what’s possible with the right platform,” she says. “It’s amazing how much time and clarity it can give back.”

Outside of work, Skyler is a dedicated explorer of New York City’s food scene. She loves trying new restaurants and discovering hidden gems Whether she’s checking out the latest spot in Brooklyn or revisiting her all-time favorite, Parm, she’s always on the lookout for her next great bite. Friends, coworkers, and anyone who knows her can always count on her for restaurant recommendations.

Schuyler knows board members move fast, which is why AI Smart Book Summary stands out as one of her favorite features. She loves seeing how long-board books turn into quick, digestible insights that help people walk into meetings feeling confident and ready.
